News ItemsApril 30, 2010 AMSG, as a subcontractor to SRA International, Inc. (SRA) was awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Global Battlestaff and Program Support from the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. The multi-award contract has an estimated value of $1.5 billion over five years. April 19, 2010 AMSG was awarded a sub-contract by Lockheed Martin to provide planning support to organize, track, and execute TFSMS program objectives. A master schedule is maintained to track all critical activities, such as C&A and IT Procurement Requests. AMSG also helps to manage the Global Force Management Marine Corps Organization Server. AMSG personnel provide acquisition planning support for the Increment 2MS B decision and all TFSMS acquisition documentation. Configuration Management Support is provided in maintaining a proactive TFSMS CM Plan, with a focus on current and future growth. AMSG personnel, as part of the SE Team implements standards and compliance controls currently applicable for guidance in the MCSC community to support the TFSMS suite of subsystems including hardware, software, data and metadata. In support of this AMSG ad the TFSMS SE Working Group maintain an SE Master Project Schedule, which ensures that all requirements of external activities are properly identified. The working group oversees technical reviews pertaining to design, implementation, compliance, maintenance, sustainment, lifecycle refresh, and other areas of technical performance. March 29, 2010 AMSG acquired its GSA-PES Schedule. The Service Item Numbers (SINs) provided are: 871-1 Strategic Planning for Technology Programs/Activities; 871-2 Concept Development and Requirements Analysis; 871-3 System Design, Engineering and Integration; 871-4 Test and Evaluation; 871-5 Integrated Logistics Support; and 871-6 Acquisition and Life Cycle Management. June 1, 2009 AMSG was awarded a sub-contract by Logis-Tech, Inc. to assist with On-Site Logistics Support for the Common Aviation Command & Control System in support of PEO Land Systems in Albany, Ga. AMSG provides technical, logistics, provisioning development, and administrative support to monitor and maintain currency of Command and Control (C2) logistics management data, technical documentation, provisioning processing, and technical data packages for systems in all phases of the logistics life cycle. December 15, 2008 AMSG was awarded the Marine Corps Logistics Command Information Technology (IT) C4 Support as subcontractor to AT&T in support of LOGCOM C4 located at Albany, Ga. AMSG is providing IT customer support and performing Incident Management (i.e. “Service Desk”) outlined in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best business practices as adopted by C4 Director; and providing IT database management, applications management, web and OS support, SAN and RAC management, Information assurance, mainframe support, enterprise backup and recovery, and system architecture support; and IT project management (software development related) and application software support (analytical, testing and programming). September 29, 2008 AMSG was awarded the Operational Forces Systems / PM C4 Systems Sustainment Support as subcontractor to Logis-Tech in support of PG 9 at MARCORSYSCOM. AMSG provides program transition, management, sustainment, and disposal support to the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Operational Forces Systems (OFS) (PG09), Program Manager (PM), C4 Systems. AMSG provides comprehensive Total Life Cycle System Management (TLCSM) support services for legacy C4 programs that reside in PM C4 Systems. AMSG personnel assist with the identification, development, and implementation of transition criteria, plan, and strategy for additional programs of record that will transfer from PG10, 11, and 12. In addition, AMSG provides acquisition, logistics, engineering, IT, financial, and admin support services that assist the PM C4 Systems team. August 11, 2008 AMSG was awarded Electronic Business Program Office Support as subcontractor to Lockheed Martin in support of PG 10 at MARCORSYSCOM. Within this project, AMSG is providing direct support for the ongoing development and maintenance of the Marine Corps Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) and providing general support for other eBusiness programs which currently includes, Paperless Acquisition (PA), FIMS, ABIS, MCLEDR, MCATS, TOPIC, STARRS, and CDTS. August 4, 2008 AMSG was awarded Headquarters Marine Corps Deputy Commandant, Installations & Logistics (Code:LP02) Prepositioning Decision Support Tool and Analysis as subcontractor to Stanley Associates in support of Headquarters Marine Corps. AMSG is leading the development of a web-based, Prepositioning Program Decision Support and Analysis Tool (PDSAT) to assist HQMC Prepositioning Program Managers (PM) in assessing, determining, and optimizing the Prepositioning Objective (PO) for the Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) and Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs – Norway (MCPP-N). |
